Who are The Generals? What do they stand for?

The Generals are the people that have passed through the Teens Church and today are who you would want to regard as MEN! Most of them are now graduates, having started with us from the scratch when they were in high school, while others are almost through with their university education. But they have one thing in common; they were in the teens church at one time or the other, they love God, they are hardworking and dedicated visioners and are God's Generals.

Today all of them still run with God's vision in their hearts and have remained a good part of us in the Spirit. So join us as we explore the world of THE GENERALS..

Ayo Sopitan

Ayo Gabriel Sopitan, fondly called AIR JORDAN because of his mastry in Basketball was a member of the Teens Church until 2000 when he got admision to the United States where he is currently studying Computer Information Systems.

Ayo was a dedicated member of the choir and member of a three man Accapella group of the Chapel. Though he lives the US, Ayo keeps in constant touch with home and he says what still keeps him the Lord are what he learned in the teens church.

Femi Kumolu

Porpularly called "GIVE JESUS A WIPER" for his acrobatic way of giving the Lord a wave offering, Femi Kumolu has come to stay in the hearts of younger teenagers.

A Senior at the University of Lagos, Femi is looking forward to graduating with honours in Banking and Finance. He is good at organizing programmes such as talk shows (he loves to talk anyway) and likes to generally put things in place. suffice me to say, Femi is a nice guy.

Kunle Oyeneye

Kunle Oyeneye is one guy people love to hang around with because he is a jovial person.

Kunle joined the Teens Church from the outset so he knew it all (if i may use that word). Today, Kunle who was a high school student at the time the church started is a grduate of Electrical Engineering from the Univeristy of Lagos, here in Nigeria.

Presently, he works in an Information Technology Firm in Lagos. He was formerly in the choir, drama and counselling departments and headed the Choir depertment until last year before he joined the body of Alunmi.

He is one person who belives a child of God must have a dream and a vision and must work hard to live up God's expectation in living the vision. Kunle still wants to read Piloting someday, but for now his interest lies in computer prgramming.

Tosin Amosu (aka Ivan) is one great guy you would love to meet. His sense of maturity will definitely sweep you off your feet.

Tosin resides and studies at the University of Louisiana in Lafaytte, USA. He is reading Computer Engineering and he is having a nice time with the Lord there. He was at home for the Christmas holiday last year and he admitted that he had a great time.

Tosin is one General with a deep knowledgeof God and he foerver remains humble despite that. He has a brother, Dennis who is in Nigeria and is very close to the Lord as well.

Gideon Bello graduated from Ogun State University after redaing Banking and Finance there and today he works at an Information Technology Firm while waiting ti serve in the National Youth Corps.

He is a General indeed, having headed ministries in the Teens Chuch such as Ushering and Follow-Up. HE still maintain his stance that one day he would become the Governor of Nigeria's Central Bank.

we say Amen to that (that will pay us big time...)

He is a certified GENERAL of our time. Gideon is now a Cordinator in the Teens Church.

Ebenezer Odu

His parents call him Ebenezer but we call him EBE! As huge as Mount Everest, Ebe has always kept his head up. He was the Teen's Church Drummer for many years and a member of the Choir before he moved over to the United States last Summer (May 2002 to be precise).

Mobola Olundegun

Mobola Olundegun, fondly called Mobie was a student of Ogun State University before she travelled to the United State Spring of 2002 where she is continuing her studies. She was a commited member of the Choir Department while in the Teens Church and she mixed well with people. Today she is grateful to God for being part of the Triumphant Teens Family and is found worthy to be adorned with the garment of a GENERAL!
